Teresia Teaiwa – Pacific Scholar, Poet and Warrior

VALE TERESIA TEAIWA, Pacific scholar, poet, activist and Oceanic warrior.

Teresia Teaiwa, a much loved, respected and admired colleague, friend, sister and mentor left us yesterday morning – too soon.

Her scholarly wisdom directed us, her poems affirmed and strengthened us and her warm and effervescent smile will not be forgotten.

Our vast Ocean has lost one of its greatest navigators and warrior activists. A fearless guardian and custodian of the Pacific.

AAPS extends its condolences to her sister, Katerina Teaiwa (AAPS President) and our love and thoughts to Teresia’s husband Sean Mallon, her children and to her family and friends.

Ko Rab’a Teresia Teaiwa, A true daughter of Oceania…….

Below are some heartfelt tributes that have been shared by many whose lives have been touched by her.
