The 2026 Tracey Banivanua Mar PhD Prize is now open for nominations!
The Australian Association for Pacific Studies (AAPS) is pleased to call for nominations for the 2026 AAPS Tracey Banivanua Mar PhD Prize. For more details, please visit our dedicated webpage for the Tracey Banivanua Mar PhD Prize.
The winning thesis will receive a prize of $1000 AUD, and an opportunity to be mentored in developing publications from their thesis.
The call for nominations will remain open until 30 January 15 February 2026 (deadline has been extended). The winner will be notified by 3 April, and publicly announced at the annual Epeli Hau’ofa Lecture, to be held in Adelaide in the week 13-17 April 2026.
