Postgraduate Masterclass with Associate Professor Tēvita O. Ka’ili

Interested postgraduate students are invited to submit an Expression of Interest to participate in a Masterclass with Associate Professor Ka’ili on 13th April, 10am-2pm at Deakin University’s city centre.

The workshop will explore Oceanian cultural arrangements of time and space in the homeland, home abroad (diaspora), and in social media. Students will be expected to complete set readings prior to the workshop, and to come prepared to discuss their own research. Lunch will be provided. Please note that spaces at this workshop may need to be limited, and in this case priority will be given firstly to Pasifika students, and then to those whose work aligns most closely with the themes of the masterclass. Students interested in attending should contact victoria.stead@deakin.edu.au by Wednesday 29 March, indicating the topic of their research.

NB: Deakin University’s city is in Melbourne’s Docklands next to Southern Cross Station.
