On occasion, the Australian Association for Pacific Studies (AAPS) executive releases official statements or otherwise signs on to group statements or endorse events on issues of concern to its membership. Decisions to support an issue, statement or event are based on consultation with the broader AAPS executive. Current AAPS members who would like to request a statement or other form of advocacy from the AAPS executive should send a request to the current President, Vice-President and Secretary.
